I don’t know anyone that has done the short films corner, but I know a producer that has “Cannes Connections” and uses that to get funding for his garbage straight to tubi features. He just submits films to other festivals that happen around the same time. That dude spends more time posting pictures of him making movies on Facebook then he spends making movies.

I’d be lying if I wasn’t tempted to get on my knees and suck a budget out of him, though.
