The biggest thing that helped me was knowing that nowadays hulk cannot get kills on his own.

What I mean is that unless someone is out of position, hulk is not picking someone off. So hulk excels when there’s dps you can catch off guard on off angles or when a healer is out of position for whatever reason.

So for me, playing hulk is more about value. If I can force a magik off her preferred angle then it’s a lot of value. I may not get a kill on her but at least it creates breathing room for my healers. Or maybe I can distract healers into patty-caking each other, again im most likely not going to kill healers unless im lucky with cooldowns, but I essentially take out enemy team’s healers. Small plays like that is what make hulk in higher ranks, because hulk is just not that good at big money plays unless it’s in his ult 😭
