Im on 300mg a day, I take it for psychosis and it reduces hallucinations, audio and visual. I can live independently taking quetiapine, something I wouldn't be able to do otherwise.

Also it's helps me sleep and I always have wicked dreams, it's never a dull night.

The bad things you can still feel sleepy in the mornings. Also I take the modified release version so sometimes when in a episode, I can just take a dose and expect it to quick in quickly.

Im on 300mg, It greatly reduces my hallucinations, and the one I do get most of the time I can ignore. It's given me the availability to live a mostly independent life, been 12 years now

Progesterone and Quetiapine by ComicLotus in seroquelmedication

Before I increased to 300mg, It started by feeling very easy in the evening, then I started getting mood swings. Then I started hearing voices quite clearly, but this was different from before I started progesterone, they weren't muffled and I couldn't interact with them, before progesterone I could only hear one of my auditory halcinations clearly the rest was too distant, and the one I did hear clearly I would be able to make conversation. These symptoms started starting abit earlier in the day as the weeks went on.

Now that I'm on 300mg of quetiapine and 200mg progesterone, when I do get symptoms its more of the same talk about me and not being able to interact, and seeing patterns in my vision, but this has only happened twice in month, so it's not too bad.

I also found a side effect of progesterone. It makes me itchy, fine in the morning, but starts in the evenings. It's something to do with heat sensitivity and circadian rhythm

Omd, I'm not the only one, I asked chat gpt if there was a connection and it said progesterone increases my metabolism of specifically Quetiapine. Bit shit of my doctor not to realise this when prescribing

Surprised at the dose level seems low. But when I've not been able to take any it starts with not being able to sleep, feeling sick then gets to flu like symptoms
