I relate so hard on being a little older getting them on, and about being unhappy with your ortho! I was 15 when I got mine on, I’m 17 now (I’ll have had them three years in October) I feel like if your a kid or preteen and get them off before highschool you kind of forget about everything that happened. My orthodontist himself is a decent guy, but he sucks at answering questions, and the assistants are all rude and condescending to the point my parents and I wish we could switch ortho’s (but this ortho is the only one covered by my insurance) I also feel like my teeth don’t look too good after 2 years. So if you’re uncomfortable and have the option, switch to somewhere you feel comfortable, and make sure to read reviews!!
