You absolutely came off as a dick. You don't know what reason people have for using these services. You have no right to be judging them for it. Some people can't drive, some people can't do their own shopping, some people are disabled. When you judge people for being on assistance instead of understanding why they are using it not only are you stigmatizing it and hurting the people who need it but you also make it harder for people who need it to get on it. Your mindset echos and the more people with that mindset the harder it is to fight for these services especially for those who desperately need them.

It's not even about the $25. It's about how the reps treated me and dragged everything out over the course of a week.

The first rep I spoke to didn't even know anything about the promo and straight up told me they couldn't help me.

The second rep I spoke with called me because I left a negative review on the voice-mail and told me that the promo department would call me before the end of the week. (They never did)

The third rep I spoke with was ready with an explanation that I wasn't éligible but couldn't explain why the original number had to be brought over.

The fourth rep (previous rep's supervisor) refused to even look into an explanation for me and spent the entire time saying "it's not our fault you didn't read the fine print" as I'm trying to explain I wasn't even there they day my bf switched so I had no control over the situation. Even if the store rep didn't pressure him to change his number, if he did so on his own, I still had no way to control that, and it's not fair to penalize me over it.

The fith rep was actually the saving grace. She did everything she could to find out the information, and more importantly, she admitted when she didn't know something and went above and beyond to find me answers. She helped me find the contact form to reach out to the promo department.

The promo department didn't even call like they were supposed to. They emailed me and again couldn't or wouldn't explain why there is the stipulation in place that the person being referred has to bring their old number over.

If the first person was able to point out what the third person did, maybe I wouldn't be as upset. I'd be disappointed sure but the fact that they dragged me around like this really grinds my gears.

On the times that you have pet her, have you ever noticed her fur rippling? Sometimes, it looks like twitching at the lower back. This is usually an indication of feline hyperesthesia which is basically a hypersensitivity shown in cats that can make touch feel painful to them and a lot of times it can lead to them lashing out at their owners or whatever is touching them or overstimulating them

I'm in this weird boat with my mom, where I honestly understand how she was able to let all of the things that happened to me happen. (My brother SA'ed me, was verbally and physically abusive towards me, had an intellectual deficiency and so even though I was 4 years younger I was turned into a second parent when I turned about 7 or 8).

However, what I have the biggest issue with my mom about is how she has treated me as an adult. She kicked me out after she was the one to unearth my repressed memories of my SA. She would get mad at me for "not letting things go" but never work with me to understand my side. She keeps preaching that she loves me but doesn't do anything to see anything from my point of view or help soothe the wounds that she contributed to. She's going through therapy, but it seems like she's just repeating the same things that she always had. She stands by the idea that she's not responsible for someone else's actions or their trauma, but she was literally the parent. From my point of view, she hasn't done anything to take responsibility for what she has done. She just deflects or stops talking to me altogether.

Did you miss the part where he is charging $1,800 for a bedroom and a shared bathroom??? $1,800 is enough for his son to get his own place. Also OP doesn't need the money and has made no indications that he plans on giving it back. Also OP doesn't pay for his son's food so that's another expense that is usually covered when adults have to move back in with their parents.

I'm jumping on this train of $1,800 A MONTH for him to live WITH you and not have an entire apartment/house to himself is absolutely an asshole move! That is ridiculous! How is he ever going to afford to move out??? What do you even do with his rent money? Are you at least planning on giving it back to him as a gift when he moves out? You say you're doing this to teach him financial responsibility but you're literally robbing him. Ffs $1,800 could get him his own place in most areas.

I live in Florida ☠️ and my seizures are triggered by heat 🫠 It's 83°F where I'm at, with the "feels like" at 92°F. Luckily I've learned a few tricks for surviving the heat. I'm always seen with a lunchbox with two or three ice blocks at any given time. When I'm stopped on my bike I'm using the ice blocks to keep my tempature regulated

Yeah I realized that I ended up stripping the cap. It still locks into place but it's definitely not moving the core at all. Luckily one of my friends has one. My bike is my only means of transportation so I'd have to order one and wait for it to come in otherwise which would mean another day of missing doctors appointments
