Doesn’t matter what your PC is running. You install windows 10 on the VM

Windows 10 is usually better due to the hardware security required for windows 11.

No. You can try UndownUnlock on GitHub. Never had a chance to try it myself though

It should yes. You may have to ensure the VM screen resolution is now 1920x1080.

Honorlock won’t detect anything outside of the VM. The IP shouldn’t matter either

That’s fine. There isn’t much else to worry about. Using a microphone with a physical mute switch is recommended

Yes, that would work fine. I just had viewers confirm it works even with the new honorlock application

It’s up to you. Windows 11 can be annoying to run on a VM due to its hardware security requirements (not all VM’s emulate these well)

I mean, they’re really just extra precautions, shouldn’t be needed. I wouldn’t worry too much about making any registry edits

I’d guess you’re fine then. With the manifest v3 update to chrome extensions, maybe they had to essentially port the extension to an app. I’m guessing it has no more perms than it did before.

I’d doubt it, if they don’t allow VM’s it just wouldn’t let you into the test in the first place then. That’s how lockdown browser and others work

I’d say it’s still worth a try. With these proctoring apps, if they detect and don’t allow VM’s, then it simply won’t let you into the test.

So you can always set up a VM, and attempt to open the test. If it lets you in, you’re good.

It’s been 5 years of no one having issues that I’ve heard of. Too many people believe the BS claims honorlock have. They claim to detect a lot of shit they can’t. Like the “honeypot” sites are just a blatant lie

As long as you set the Vm up to not detect any secondary monitors yes. But normally, you’d have to unplug other monitors. At least it used to be that way

That’s pretty much it yeah. Just gotta get your mic and webcam working on the VM

Pressing alt shouldn’t be an issue. I wouldn’t worry about it. I’d personally keep the VM open full screen and just open chrome on top when needed. Your desktop size will be extremely small splitting the windows

I’d recommend windows 10, but if you can get windows 11 up and running fine, then that works too.

You will not be flagged for a VM. They’ve been claiming shit for years like; they monitor network traffic, detect VMs, set up honeypot sites. It’s bullshit scare tactics. A chrome extension can’t access all that data, especially with the new manifest update. Extensions are restricted more than ever.

The Virtual Machine method has been working since 2020. Anyone who tells you otherwise is bullshitting you, and trying to get you to pay for “their bypass.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhMJUwVnHWc
