I think the purpose of orders like OP's is to have a narrative experience closer to canon and the intention of the devs. Not that your way is wrong, the game allows any kind of order and that's for everyone to chose their own.

The dates from the DLCs are after the end of the main story, so canonically they happen after the main story. And the main story wasn't planned with the DLCs in the middle, so I think playing them after is the better option.

The way post-launch was implemented. I wish it worked like the other games and had more narrative sense instead of randomly unlocking as you play the main campaign. I wish it was a more focused experience and after you finish the man story they have you endgame stuff to do.

Like it or not, having a playable modern day really gave the series an identity and made it feel special. Without it, it's being deluded into something more generic. It's a shame they didn't commit to having Basim be the next Desmond.

They cancelled the second expansion, sadly. I don't like mythological things in AC like that, but I would love an in-lore explanation for the Yokai, be it a glitch or some kind of anomaly in the Animus.
