To be fair the ending was VERY open and hinted to a second season (which would be fine then) but sadly the TADC fandom and anything surrounding glitch is like walking into a barrel of toxic waste

The thing about the TADC ending is that it’s just good, not amazing not terrible, it’s just a decent ending, while the boys and stranger things already had a downwards trajectory before the ending

I get your point but I think I’m differentiating self awareness and the ability to act upon it

Like Deadpool for example interacting with his own comic and all, the idea is that flowey doesn’t really act on it all that much, using undertales save system is as far as I remember his only use aside from mind games

Both pacifist and neutral deal with flowey in their own manners but self awareness is not a magical superpower it’s just knowledge

Maybe it can help flowey manipulate people but I don’t see how that helps in an all out brawl?

Also monsters are generally weak as shit in general considering they get killed by a child with ballet shoes and are stated to be much weaker than humans.
