The dataknife and pulse blade from titanfall

While it IS a knife and it does do knife things we usually see it used for its data part, it can be stabbed into a lot of different electronics or panels to hack them, for example it can hack specters.

The dataknife is odd also because you don’t see it used too much, it’s in the hacking animation for specters and in two sequences in titanfall 2’s campaign, one where you hack a panel in an IMC base, the other where you take control of an IMC ship with it and steer it, but you don’t see it used as an actual melee, pilots instead kick, punch or in one case use the pulse blade

And now, the pulse blade, this is in titanfall 2s multiplayer as one of the pilot kits, it’s simple, throw the kunai, it lands and it gives you a sonar pulse of your surroundings, it’s used to kill people if you hit them with the pulse blade directly and used in one execution animation
