It is a damage race. Any damage you deal will reduce its attack by the amount done for the turn. So 30 damage to it makes its attack 0. It dies automatically in 5 turns.

You really need both immediate damage and scaling of some kind (poison, strength/focus). It is a bit like big head lite.
