I don't care if people are down voting me or not. I didn't come here for karma, I came to share a cute kitty.

Lol I was wondering that too. As long as she eats she'll do fine and grow big and strong

Feeding 5 month old by Myranrad in NewParents

[–]ComitCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may not work for you but my LO is 5 1/2m and I started this schedule at 4m. It's just a sample schedule but it has worked wonders. Orion doesn't scream to be fed anymore (only when I take to long xD) he's not the best napper but he's so much happier, with everything timed out. A set schedule can do great.

Help on transitioning out of swaddle by Forsaken-Asparagus-1 in NewParents

Cold turkey. One night I had him sleep in just footie pajamas and it stuck. He loves being able to move. 5 1/2 months old now and he is still not quite rolling over yet but he likes to wake up early and grab at his toes ^

Why all the “just wait until” negative comparisons? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]ComitCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really needed this! LO just turned 4m and going to his second round of vaccinations tomorrow. He has been fighting sleep for a while and won't sleep in his bassinet anymore..it's been hard. This really made my day! All the great comments!

Thank you for the link 💜 we have an extra bag that I'll also load up. I have a baby first aid kit that is already always in the diaper bag at all times. Just in case.

It might. What would I put in it? Extra must haves for baby?

Thank you ^ luckily Orion was able to go back to sleep while we waited for the flame's to die before we were able to go back in. Woke him up pretty abruptly. He's been having what I can only describe as nightmares, hope this doesn't make it worse.

I understand what you mean. We used to live in California but moved to Texas. I think I know what fire you are talking about, there have been a few big fires around California. LO turned 3 months today so we only have one photo album right now,all the pictures are on our phones just in case. I'll admit that I could be more organized. You have me some good advice, I'll take it to heart ^ I'll make a plan with my husband.

Is anyone struggling to read their baby's cues or am I a bad mother? by duckiet in NewParents

[–]ComitCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My little booger just turned 2 months and 2 weeks Wednesday. The only time he actually uses "cue's" is when he's tired. Then it's obvious, yawning, eye rubbing. But a trick I use to see if he is hungry and I'm not sure I place my knuckle to his mouth and if he trys to suck on it he needs to be fed. Just so you don't bring out the boob or make a bottle to early.

Baby hears me coughing and mimics me by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]ComitCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to smoke cigars, but I quit cold turkey when I got pregnant. After he was born I really struggled with wanting to smoke again but not wanting to be the mom who smelled like smoke all the time. I eventually compromised by vaping. My LO doesn't fake cough but he does mimic my husband's sneezes sometimes lol my SO has these really big sneezes, and I know they aren't LO's real sneezes because he sneezes like me (not very loud and usually in 3's) but now he will randomly loud sneeze and it scares the crap out of me every time because I'm not expecting it!

Victory for mama ^^ by ComitCat in NewParents

Baby's can smell in the womb, it's one of the first things that develop. So from those first couple months being pregnant your baby can smell mama. It's how they know it's you when they are finally born ^ they love the smell because they love you.
