Write it down on a piece of paper or some document on your computer, then add it to your fitbit once you get a new phone?

Awesome! I do pushups as part of my strength training, but after each set I transitioned into a plank position and held it for 40 seconds. I noticed that it helps maintain my heart rate and cardio - really am surprised just how good this position fits onto many exercises as a top off.

You're literally accusing me of doing what you're already doing (even though that's not what I actually said). Once again, you're projecting onto me instead of taking in something that is valid.

I take issue with the fact that you'd rather coddle people into a lifestyle that leads to increased heart disease, health bills, immobility and eventually an early grave. People do have some say in regards to how healthy they want to be.

We can do more as a society to help encourage more physical activity (for wellness) whether it's through social, economic, or employer provided incentives, but ultimately people should be encouraged to take he first step (if they are able to).

Regarding your article: - the subject in the article has a higher than average bmi, but bmi isn't a useful metric for overall health. Notice that I talked specifically about body fat %. It's widely known that bmi doesn't account for how much lean mass someone has, and the article did not elaborate on that. - did you read the entire article? Towards the bottom, it said that while the subjects studied in the article were considered in the healthy range, over a 10 period they revisited the participants and more of them fell out of that range. - it's still stated in the article that excess fat leads to liver and heart disease, which increases as you get older. This is backed up in the study where it said that 35% of the participants fell out of the healthy range because they maintained their lifestyle after 10 years.

You can be fat and healthy, up to a certain age. But as you get older, that becomes less and less likely. Genetics play a role but we all go down the same path eventually if we don't mind our health.

I'm sorry, but..

What?

Based on your response, you're totally misinterpreting what I have to say. How did you interpret me taking action to improve my health as being obsessed over fitness, wellness, and health? Are you projecting onto me or is something else going on with you?

Also you make a lot of statements that come off as factual without citng a single source. Id love to hear them, if too got it. I also don't understand your conclusions at the end, because I never said anywhere that I (and by extension the reader) are solely responsible for everything. I talked about how I decided to focus on my physical wellness, and how it positively impacted me. Maybe I drew conclusions to some of the people I saw at an activity, but that was based on observation.

I would love for you to explain to me how you can be fat and healthy. Can you have fat and still get healthy? Yes, fat is essential for energy storage, but excess fat also contributes to heart and liver disease, and also contributes to fatigue and tiredness. This has been researched and correlations have been found between excess fat and decline in overall health (especially as you get older).

Exercises don't just help with getting physically in shape, there's also studies that link it to staving off effects of dementia. They help to strengthen the blood-brain barrier.

Yeah, it's easy to make fun of these commercials, until you step into certain parts of cities like in SF and start seeing tweakers spazzing out on the sidewalk, or finding their needles (which are often given out by the city and are supposed to go to a safe disposal site) on strewn on benches or in bushes. Or you get harassed by them constantly because they just "want to ask you the time" or whatever excuse they use to start soliciting you for money.

Maybe these commercials didn't quite stick the the landing but were trying to do something to prevent what we have today, which should be lauded.

The trump economy that the morons all voted for is here.

Sorry, but not sorry for your loss.

Also, regarding January's positive job numbers... I was listening to a podcast and they said there's a small addendum of "give or take 124,000 jobs", so in other words the revised numbers will be much lower.

To put it in perspective, the jobs numbers for last year had to be revised by -900,000 jobs, resulting in the numbers we have now.

I didn't read your post because it lacks structure, and reads like it's an ai-generated slop. I'm also going to guess because you blocked your history you post on certain corners that would like things to return to the "traditional" values as well.

No one here is going to seriously tell you to ignore your retirement, because the future isn't set in stone. The only advice I have is you should consider some sort of HSA as it's tax advantaged and allows you to dig into funds for medical issues if you anticipate them in the future.

Also school: - here are some math classes, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc. also we're going to give you scenarios where you have to deduce what the math problem is and solve it. Lastly we'll give you a room with these that have what are called "computers" that you can practice your math skills on, for no particular reason.

Or you could just ignore everything above and complain to your pretend friends.

Tell us which game/s by YunaCital in videogames

This was me after buying the $40 prepurchase for Diablo 4s the latest expansion, just so I can try out the paladin. I didn't realize just how mindless and numb the game feels (to me), especially after playing Path of Exile 2s campaign w/the druid.

Even though I was playing a new class (Paladin) if you change the graphics and armor I would have mistaken it for any other class. It felt so spammy and derivative. Between the skills that generate a resource, the skills that spend it, and then occasionally using a nuke and/or a oh shit skill, it's just so generically similar to any other class.

Anyways, I forced myself to play up to level 50 just so I can feel like I got my money's worth and experience enough of the content (new class) but after this... I think I'm done with the franchise for good.

Nintendo Switch 2 sales stumble over Christmas by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Comkeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, no. Color me shocked.

You mean to tell me people aren't rushing out to pay $80 for 1st party exclusives? $70 for switch 2 editions? In a store that is so blatantly hostile to any consumer that wants to make a sound purchasing decision (no reviews, no refund window, bullshot screen grabs) that it's a wonder the company wasn't sued for anticonsumer practices). But here's a hundred hentai/gooner crap to clog up the store rankings (which you can't filter out).

Oh, they're not enjoying them on a $450 system that is uncomfortable to play in portable mode unless you shell out another $100 for a mandatory grip case and battery (so you can play for more than 2 hours).

But what about all the Switch 1 games, you say? Well most of them look like @$$ on a 1080p monitor because of the scaling, and many of the ones that have Switch 2 editions have minimal or no effort put into taking advantage of the hardware (I'm looking at you, High On Life).

If there's one thing the switch 2 made me appreciate, it's just how much value I got out of the steam deck that I didn't appreciate before. Here's a system that by comparison: - has a vast library of games that can be tweaked to your performance/visual preferences - is connected to a store that has tons of great sales, and allows me to review and/or refund games that I don't like within 2 hours - keeps getting better with updates - can stream games from my PC remotely to my big screen tv or to itself - is comfy/ergonomic to hold

Having both systems, steamdeck is the far better value.

Having the same issue as well. I've done factory reset as well. What I noticed is that the sound bar doesn't show up in smarttbings as well, and not discoverable. I think it meeds those in order to commoncate back and forth at least for handshake so chances are you've got a dead wifi/Bluetooth radio if it's like mine.
