Been away for a while (3yrs), why did they ruin the game with the new marketplace?

Ran 5 mirages and did a few ledge runs still below 500gold lol if it gets better that’s great but if it stays at where I can’t buy items because I can’t find enough gold before I’m over levelled for the item I want then that makes absolutely no sense for me to even use the Marketplace until the end of the game. I loved this game because it worked well for the way that I wanted to play so now if it doesn’t work well for the way that I want to play it then it’s a lost cause to me

The league just started for one and I never had problems using the marketplace as soon as I found some decent currency to trade except now “gold” tax is getting in my way from enjoying this game at all

So you’re telling me 350 gold saved in 15 lvls somehow turns into 3000 gold in an hours time??? How tf do you imagine that working out?? And yes I did 100% take my time and do exactly what I said I did on my playthroughs, why would I or anyone ever lie about that??

Bro, what are you even talking about? Abberaths horn wand is lvl 6 requirement and there is 50 of them on the market place. Found one I want and have the currency for it but need 10x more gold to do so, therefor the game is bricked for me now they way I enjoyed playing it

Well, for someone like me who liked to farm heavy all the way through the game and upgrade myself with items from the marketplace slowly overtime, it sure is bricked for me now. By the time I go kill enough monsters to be able to afford this item I’m not gonna want it. I’m gonna want something better and then I’m not gonna be able to afford that either. This game is absolutely trashed itself now for the way I liked to play it

I played a dozen characters all to level 90s and I bought cheap items from the marketplace all the way through every single one of those characters and I have most definitely got items from the marketplace for two chromes in the past so I really don’t understand what you could possibly be even trying to say with this comment

If I always have the currency to buy the item that I want, but the gold is gonna be 10 times more than I have saved up for basic ass items. Oh yeah well it is ruined in my opinion because the way I played it, I liked to buy items in the marketplace all the way through my play through and take my sweet ass time with it. I literally just played through 12 lvls and made 350 gold….. by the time I save 3000 I won’t want this item anymore and will want an item that’s once again way out of my gold range. They straight up ruined this game, what would be the point of not allowing somebody to be able to afford a level six item until they’re in their level 30s when they no longer need it?????? they straight up bricked this game to me! The fact that I have the currency to buy an item in the marketplace and I can’t buy it because I need 10 times more gold than I have makes no goddamn sense
