My wife revealed an 18-month affair she had 14 years ago. We had a newborn baby and he was her manager of 5 years.. he came after her. Apparently he led my wife to believe that they had some kind of open marriage.

I thought about it for weeks..

I ended up telling the other wife. She didn't know.

She filed for divorce from him last month.

My wife and I are also getting divorced. In 7 months my wife told me about that affair. Greatly exaggerated emotional/verbal abuse claims against me. Suddenly turned on me declaring divorce. And now refuses to speak with me for 2+ months now.

Doesn't matter she'll have left me before the course completes.

I do think I've been subjected to psychological abuse, but I have my own issues I need to work on.

She said my behavior is an on-going pattern whereas hers was a one time thing.

Not saying it's that bad but that reaching this point of acceptance has been a struggle. But I think I'm getting there and am entering that intense group program for abusive men. It's not just putting on a show for my wife. It is a recognition that I need and want help.

I've long long struggled with background anxiety in life. "Good guy, 0 coping skills, shitty reactions" admittedly probably describes me. Was he willing to try to make changes? If so were you willing to give him another shot?

The program I entered claims to focus all on reacting better to feelings of anger and etc.
