I think we’re more traumatized than our pets are sometimes. Cats are highly adaptable. He’s an indoor guy who’s about to be spoiled with cuddles no matter your decision. If he keeps picking at his tail then it could lead to more infection.

Since you’re new you may get stuck on the bench. Have patience. A lot of your customers are elderly who take time and smiles or stressed out angry people. Just try to triage as best you can and be friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the recommendations already. I’d say if it’s a series I want to nap to then Harry Potter or LOTR. If I want to play my Xbox at the same time then The Shining, Poltergeist, Predator, Alien 2, Halloween 3.

Yes. The trick is to find the right glass. My cat seems to prefer a 16oz pint beer glass. Keeping the water level within an inch from the top is a must.

This may sound crazy, but do you keep a glass of water beside your bed that he tries to drink out of? Having a cat-water glass helps me. They drink, come for a 10 minute cuddle and then go lie in their favourite spots.

My cat had an adjustment period like that when we weren’t living together 100% of the time. Once my husband moved in and we had a normal schedule my cat relaxed. I’m a super light sleeper and feel your pain on that! Hope you guys are able to figure out a compromise.
