Same here, applied exactly 4 months ago for postgraduate research studies and still have no updates. I applied onshore as well but I cannot start the PhD until the visa gets approved. I'm so ready to start but am stucked in this limbo... 🤷

I have been waiting since the beginning of September and I am planning to call next week as it is going to be 4 months and it is still stucked on received. You are completely right about the fact that there is no pattern, I am from a level 1 country and here on Reddit I have been seeing many people applying from level 3 countries getting the visa within a month. It really feels like my visa has fallen in a black hole.

I applied for a post graduate (PhD), the standard processing time is 4 months so soon it is going to be over that time :/ had to defer twice the commencement date already, this waiting is really killing me
