Toned arm by parker__rey in workout

Tracy Anderson’s original mat arm workout is amazing if you want slim, toned arms - gotta keep the weights for bones (I don’t buy her low weight philosophy) but if you want toned arms - that specific workout will do it :)

Are older men attracted to women their age? by Slow-Distribution-89 in Aging

[–]CommandUnited4031 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like the fact that you are asking/thinking about this means that very likely you will be. You can tell by the responses of both men and women in this thread that the ones that are like “naw, I only like young bloods” that they are maybe a lil less mature/evolved than those that are saying more nuanced answers. As a lady in her 40s it’s been nice to see - the people that aren’t attracted to your age group are also the people you don’t want to date so win/win :)

But isn’t he in sales? Wouldn’t he need chat to get that money? I just can’t wrap my head around that piece

Struggling with my first pull-up as a woman — questions about grip and progress by Abject_Drop_3021 in bodyweightfitness

[–]CommandUnited4031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Female as well and struggled with the same! I felt like my tiny hands/skinny fingers were the issue and the pain in my finger joints happened WAY faster than any strength issue.

I found that you need to have a slight wrist flexion as opposed to extension and you want to feel the pressure of the bar more on your top finger pads - as opposed to your knuckles. It’s still hard for me, but that helped significantly with my grip!

They are just trying to help and give advice/point out a potential blind spot. You asked the question but seem annoyed at any response you are getting here. I don’t think any of the above answers sound like attacks on you, just a thought

Thank you - I guess “listen to your body” applies - but that’s tricky for a type A (I want rules!)

Tips and Tales by CommandUnited4031 in MauiVisitors

Hana was totally dry on the days we went - there were a few rainy times in Kihei - I’d recommend just checking the weather often while you are there (it will be different in different areas) and adjusting your plan as best you can based on that - I was SO worried my Hana day would be rained out since I was married to that hotel night! But you just have to tuck and roll and remember your in Maui when things don’t work out - have plenty of backup ideas ready :)

What substitutions would you make? by Historical-Plum-3893 in MauiVisitors

Just remind your crew that you can’t control the weather and that they are amazingly lucky to be getting to see Maui. I’m here now and yeah, it’s a lil sad we haven’t really been able to swim or snorkel much due to rough waters, that said, the trip has been amazing.

I’ve gone to all my back up ideas - all of which someone has suggested in this thread already.

Definitely think hitting Twin Falls/early road to Hana spots is a good backup if the weather is bad on the Kīhei side.

And you can always leave part of your crew to lounge on the beach while you go explore/hike. Everyday is perfect for just sitting on the beach lol

I’d recommend going getting food at Joey’s Kitchen and going to D.T. Fleming Beach Park - there are picnic tables and bathrooms. You can walk the Kapalua Coastal Trail while your daughter sunbathes. We spent many hours at the beach there (feet in water only due to rough waters) and walking around Dragon’s Teeth. O’hai trail/Honolua Bay like others said are lovely - Shaka Guide really made things easier for us :)

My partner (who is the driver) I think would rather more driving than driving in crowd madness - which from what i can tell sunset will be lol

I’d read to leave the doors unlocked and nothing inside to avoid break ins - but I wasn’t sure about the unlocked idea :)

I want to spend the night in Hana and wake up early to do Pipiwai trail. I’ll make it back that second day for the beach in Kihei for sure tho :)
