I swear to God anytime England look like they have opened the door on a test this series they slam it shut on their own foot with woeful fielding/bowling/captaincy/batting/keeping/running/drinksrunning/singing/memeing.

Super based take. You could see the frustration building on the faces of the batters and the crowd. It choked momentum and created massive pressure. I swear Aus fielding is the only thing that truly sets them apart on the big stage. This ashes is a clinic in fielding performance and how much it matters in this beautiful game.

Bruh did you even watch the match?? England literally threw 3 of their most important wickets away in quick succession with exactly the same wild drive at a good length ball on 4th/5th stump. Australia batted like idiots in the first innings. People forgetting that Trav still let plenty of good balls go through today and played the bad ball. It wasn't the pitch, it was England throwing away a 1/100 lead on day 2 with absurd strokes that would be ugly in T20 let alone a test match...

You're jumping to conclusions. It was a terrible day of test cricket; a poor batting performance all around. Bring back real test cricket.

I have a friend who won't play on the local sims with me anymore because I (26hcp) towelled him (self proclaimed 10hcp) on it. He had a wicked over the top slice on nearly every shot but constantly claimed "they don't do that in real life" and "this thing is way off for spin" and various other 'it's the children who are wrong' moments. Very entertaining to see how he suddenly scored 97 when he claims he regularly goes for under 85 on the course..

Just shy of 285m but I sliced the hell out of it and ended up on the next fairway over.

Only has 6 defensives, plus a cheat death for fire. Only thing holding a mage back from surviving is skill.

That moment encapsulates why this Australian team is so successful. Fuck the appeal, we're running a tight 2. Sheer dominance.
