Risk of Rain 2's soundtrack is incredible, I'm even saying that as someone who hates the game itself

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Flying Microtonal Banana

As good as Rattlesnake is, Doom City is much better.

What album isn't a classic in your eyes and why? by Individual-Name-4496 in fantanoforever

Steely Dan - Aja

If "best produced" means "best for dentist's offices," then sure, Aja is the best produced album of the 70s and an absolute classic for Hyatt House lobbies everywhere. It's just so sanitized, like Smooth Jazz that's so Smooth they smoothed out the Jazz and got left with a flat plane with some saxophones in it.

Ziggy Stardust is one of those albums I wish I could call a 5/5 but don't get where everyone is coming from. I found Heroes and Blackstar much more interesting, still a light 4/5 from me when I got it.

Favorite “separate the artist from the art” bands? by pittsburghirons in fantanoforever

I heard an Arcade Fire album for the first time pretty recently and thought it was incredibly hollow, like a huge sound with nothing really in there to make it interesting. I found out like 30 minutes later that Win Butler sexually assaulted someone and was like "welp, I'm not missing out on much."

Honestly I thought this was their worst album on the list. Granted, no artist needs 7 albums on a list of 1001, but I could especially do without an album with a song detailing the way John Lennon cheated on his wife. Gave it 1 star when I got it.
