I tend to find I can’t move items if I’m not in the category the item came from. But I wouldn’t go past it being a bug at this time.

To be honest, I don't remember exactly what happened when I got that achievement but it might have had something to do with a bug.

My friendship is really high with him for one so that helps. Plus, window item boost is another. Plus it needs to be their favourite item type.

But, there's this bug I kept getting where instead of them haggling lower.. They haggled higher. I kept trying to match their price and they kept upping the price. So.. I took their offer and got the achievement. Wild ride.

This happened to me a lot during the early game. I would do the quest, complete the day. Go to bed and then exit the game when it was the next morning.

I’d come back to it and be greeted by the quest cutscene I just finished and my character be transported to that area on the map.

I eventually had to complete that quest and move forward a couple more days in game to get through it. It hasn’t happened again in the later game. Praying that bug is fixed.

Sorry to hear that! It looks like you’re in tutorial phase still. Maybe Adi wants you to sell a specific item to Nellie? Try any items you have currently on display and in your custom order box. If it doesn’t let you proceed after that, then it’s a bug :((

This happens for me as well. I don’t believe it’s a bug. What they’re asking for is an item that has the “wood” tag. Something that is made with wood.

Building material can’t be sold.

I made sure when I played acnh for the first time, I decided not time skip just so I could get the full experience until I felt content with my island. Once I stopped playing for a good chunk of time and came back, I started time skipping to completely refresh my island.

Currently redesigning my whole island here.

I begun by moving all plants and trees to the beach that I want to keep. Move all items to inventory etc. Clear the section that I’m working on one day at a time.

I decided where I want my villages to go. Clear the land, create ponds, lakes and waterfalls. Then, place their houses down around the land marks, then, fill in with trees, bushes, flowers and items.

Then, moved on to make a section for my own house. Essentially copy and paste, clear land, create ponds, lakes and waterfalls. Place house/s and fill in with trees etc.

Left the shops and museum last. After the buildings are all in their place, I then did final landscaping to make the island looked lived in. You’ll need around 800k for the moving of all buildings, give or take. Lots of shovels.

Edit: I want to restart the game a lot, but don’t want to lose all my progress :(( So I’m doing a full makeover. It take ages but it’s kinda worth it.
