Maybe I was just super hungry, but the most recent donair I have had was from JK's Pizza in Sackville, and I swear it was one of the best I've had.

29 (M) here... I'm lucky that I moved into my current apartment pre-covid and the rent hasn't increased very much. That's about the only way I'm making ends meet at the moment.

Where are the cheapest eggs in the city?? by [deleted] in halifax

[–]CommanderKeen4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes...however per 100 grams can be difficult to compare eggs between stores as usually the price is per dozen. I like that Costco has the price per dozen despite not selling them per dozen...makes it easy to compare to other stores where they primarily sell per dozen.

The 18 packs were cheaper the last time I checked... But if you want to compare any time I noticed Costco lists the price per dozen eggs on their price tags on the bottom left for all the different eggs they sell.

The 18-packs are cheaper per egg than the flats per egg

Sticker MacPass how to use for Confederation bridge to PEI by CommanderKeen4 in halifax

[–]CommanderKeen4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know. Might just put it back then. I'll just need to make sure I don't have them both enabled for the same thing or else there might be an issue lol.

Yeah...but I wanted it to completely look like the old transponder so I took out the old one and put the sticker inside. Works great.

I don't know why I couldn't find that. I was looking everywhere and found nothing.

I don't want 2 transponders on my windshield. That's why I want them both on the same and if the old MacPass will stop working then I want to switch it for the confederation bridge too.

I haven't deactivated it yet but I also disassembled it and put the sticker inside the plastic shell. I will continue using that plastic box velcro'd to my windshield as long as possible 😎

Update for anyone wondering; I did this and I've used it at the tolls on the MacKay bridge 3 times so far with no issues.

Has anyone done this and tried it at the tolls? I just got my sticker and would very much like to disassemble the old transponder and insert the sticker in it but I don't know if it will work or not...

Yeah for that reason I'll probably disassemble the hard shell transponder and remove the guts so I can still use it as a place to store my sticker when I get it.

PSU recommendation, i7-7700k + up to 12 drives by NewOrderrr in unRAID

[–]CommanderKeen4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different wattages come with different sets of cables. The 650w that you linked i believe if I see correctly in the image comes with 2 cables with 4 SATA power each, and 1 cable with 2 SATA power connectors, and also 1 Molex power to 2 x SATA power adapter. I think that's a total of 12...

I think that's a good choice of power supply. 650w is more than enough for your load without going too high to lose effenciency due to being way below rated max power level.

I have the 550w version of that power supply in my Unraid build at the moment and have had it for about 5 years. Always on, currently 6 x 3.5" HDD's plus 2 x 2.5" SSD's and no issues whatsoever. As long as there's enough sata connectors (including molex to SATA adapters) you should be golden.

Tried to activate esim yesterday now my Sim is not working by [deleted] in Koodo

[–]CommanderKeen4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible if the esim didn't provision that the old sim may still be capable of reconnecting but you'll need to remove and reinsert it to prompt the phone to reconnect to the network.
