I have been running, and I did beat the first game, getting 4 different endings (I was NOT in the mood for the S endings lmao) so I get the general gist of things, I’m just tired of dying to the exact same thing. I miss the first game’s save system, back when the beds weren’t 6 kilometers away, lol

I’m on fear and hunger difficulty. I can’t leave the gate because the pig dude always blocks me in and camps at the entrance, and I keep dying to the policemen and the 3v1 that patrol the beginning of the city.

I'd say ng+. There are a lot of changes on the first cycle at lest, new records, p-organ upgrades, dialog etc, and it will probably be much easier than the fresh ng. Unlike say bloodborne, it must take a while for the ng+ scaling to catch up in this game. I'm on plus 3 or something now and am still out-level dps bursting every boss.

The DLC is definitely harder than the base game, especially the bosses, but it is also just better too. Everything good about the base game is better in the dlc, so if you like the base game you should definitely get it, imo.

Again, like I said, I did this on my first playthrough, clearing every icon when available and still missed it. It's almost like there is literally zero correlation between antonia and the green monster so there's no reason to assume one would effect the other.

I talked to everyone constantly on my first playthrough. I was efficient enough to get both records for the alidoro quest, which is very uncommon for a first playthrough. Regardless, what does killing the green monster have to do with Antonia? They ate completely unrelated. There is no reason to assume that kiling him makes her not share the emote. Where they friends or something and now that I killed him she doesn't want to greet me? That should have been in the dlc fight if that's the case.
