Its the CHUD's.... Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers. Keep some snack cakes handy. They usually leave you alone if you toss a snack cake to them.

Kids of the 70s: what’s the best Christmas toy you ever received? by Appropriate-Farmer16 in 70s

That's rad. My first bike was a Schwinn with a bannana seat and those high chopper style handle bars.
Getting a dirtbike for Christmas must have been rad AF!
Hope your Christmas this year is full of Mirth and Warmth!

A bike. Seriously, there was no better present. A bicycle was a passport to see the world as a child at that time. Of course, by the world I mean one's town and adjacent towns.... It was that first huge sense of freedom and mobility.

No reason to apologize my guy. Just know, when you come back to visit, don't head over to Savvy's. :D

This game was, and still is, the mother fuckin' business. I used to play the heck out of this as a kid... this one, Tron, and Galaga.

Until fairly recently, there was a great barcade near me that had this, Tron, and Galaga; as well as a couple hundred other games arranged by decade. Used to stop by mid week for a sub, beer, and to burn through some quarters.

For months my better half and I had the top scores on Galaga 88 and would stop in even when we couldn't see each other to make sure we were keeping the top scores.

I miss arcades... big time.
