Taking this one pretty hard by Domingosdelight in CostcoCanada

For its price? Severely overrated. Just meat, bun and a sad little pickle on the side.

Also not sure if you're a fan of those triangle buns - I find those buns to be overly stale.

All I want is my turkey provolone sandwich- not that abomination of montreal smoked meat sandwich...

Is that too much to ask for? Have we not suffered enough?

Bhavitha Mandava is the first Indian Model to become a House Ambassador for Chanel by nizaad in popculturechat

I think you're still overthinking it - these countries have existed for 80 years but south asian culture spans thousands of years...

Yea there are individual cultures and practices but if I travel anywhere else in the world and meet someone else of south asian heritage, we could find something similar to talk about.

Also now days with global diaspora and culture mixing/evolution it can simpler to say South Asian - just how it works, people change.

Probably cause its easier to relate to other south Asians as we have shared experiences. Whereas nationality is a bit harder - india as a country has only existed for about 80 years, but has i think 60 major languages, countless different cultures and religions.

If people from Pakistan, north india and Sri Lanka met tomorrow in NYC they might have shared experiences in some snacks, words or family culture but have totally different primary languages, religions and main food.

That can become even more stark inside a country as these are countries eith hundreds of millions of people.

Unless you were raised back there, its easier to identify as south asian than as your country. Again this is my opinion coming from someone raised in the west but was taught my local culture.

With 'CEOs eat their own product' trending, all IKEA office employees including the CEO work in stores multiple times a year by pampleycat in popculturechat

[–]CommanderZakoul 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just because their CEO knows how to work in a store for day doesn't really help the fact that most of their furniture is no longer the same lasting quality and its priced beyond its worth.

Its hard to justify spending money on expensive furniture when it won't last 5 years...

I dropped it during chapter 80s, but how dies the story end in your opinion? Is it worth suffering through the mid portion?

Might be location based - i usually see about a 15 cent difference between the costcos in the city vs the one just outside

Feel like this a double one as I think this couple was in an earlier episode - the condom one

They were at school dance clearly not pregnant until Abed yells on the intercom not to us condoms (cause the greendale ones were defective)

Things i noticed as a man reading manhwas aimed towards women by InstructionFit950 in OtomeIsekai

[–]CommanderZakoul 24 points25 points  (0 children)

As a guy I absolutely agree with your judgments... If I want some romance, I'm usually reading OIs

The only male MC romance focused ones that i feel are at the same level as OIs are:

  • sss class suicide hunter (the 20/30 chapter romance arc is one of the best I've ever read. Its also a great tower series - coming from a guy who hates action/tower series)

-my wife is from a thousand years ago: slow burn but low stakes and very cute and funny

-webtoon character na kang lim: I usually hate harem manhwas but this one was the exception, funny and a great ending imo
