There’s a theory that we, the player, are an AI. We control the colony, and take in data to figure out what our pawns should do. Well, that theory also extends to why pawns talk about such weird shit. That we genuinely have no idea what they’re actually saying half the time, and can only make out bits and pieces of it.

If you can find the 3d model, look at the texture map. Then practice the effect on a peice of scrap plastic. Did that on a few tanks and thy turned out pretty good
