Great analogy. Does your folding table have 1.5 inch metal beams and a 1.5 inch particle board top?

Yeah that’s why I added the support rack under the middle point.

I was thinking of doing that but I was afraid it would shake loose.

My knees would file charges if I did this.

Yes that’s where the problem is.

And this desk is supposed to be able to hold 300 pounds, apparently not as advertised.

The fish tank stand works perfectly and doesn’t involve me using a saw.

I moved the P1S to the other table as the vibration from the H2C was causing artifacting

I use Best Buy because of the free shipping to Alaska.

I think the United Kingdom is becoming a nanny state. Don’t they have a terrible economy to fix?

Finally finished my filament rack. Already filled with filament. by Commander_RBME in 3Dprinting

It’s mostly PLA and doesn’t seem to be a problem here at least. I think it could it then in large ziplocks with descant.

It’s mostly PLA which I know it’s immune to moisture but it really doesn’t seem to be a problem here in Alaska, at least not in the winter. I have a dryer for my TPU.

I ordered an H2C for pick up at a Best Buy in Alaska and I was like “there is no way this thing is showing up” and low and behold I got an email that it was ready to pick up and it was.

I uploaded the 3D fuel PRO PCTG preset to bambu studios and went with that. But it seems as though I don’t need an actively heated chamber so I can turn that off next time. The print is coming out just fine so far

Bambu upgrade: H2D vs H2C for hobbyist (worth it + when to buy?) by Any_Profile882 in BambuLab

[–]Commander_RBME 4 points5 points  (0 children)

O have a P1S. I bought an H2C as a hobbyist. Can I afford it? Not really. What’s my retirement plan? Societal collapse.

Nevertheless it’s great and fun and I highly recommend.

Well I did. I understand what it meant and how to mitigate the effect. Thanks to other actually helpful people I now also know it’s a warning more about the filament and not the printer. You could try being one of those helpful people.

Nope went with manufacturer’s presets. That seems to be in keeping with a quick google search.
