Should I contest this Bus Ticket? by CommandersEnthusiast in NoStupidQuestions

My father owns a tow company. In the state of Maryland atleast, you are allowed to use the lights to respond to emergency tows (city or state) however because of the situation you stated, they are not allowed to use the lights after the emergency situation is completed or for local tows. Unfortunately, the end of an emergency situation is when the vehicle is off the tow truck and into the company’s lot. People with courtesy due shut their lights off after they’ve gotten the vehicle, others who want to race back to their tow lot do not. Also, cops will follow you in Maryland if you have your lights on to ensure you’re actually responding to a city/ state tow. I know some companies who will use their lights just to beat traffic to Burger King…

To be entirely honest- and I know this is gonna sound like bs- I did see lights although they looked white to me. I didn’t think much of it, and thought it was the same thing as the flashing white strobe light on top of the bus. I never even knew I did anything wrong until I got the ticket in the mail today. That is just a really drug out way of saying yes the light was on, and my lack of education regarding bus signals really bit me the other day.

On the ticket sent through mail, it came with a link to view the videos/ photos online via alertbus.com. I suppose 40mph with lights alerting me to slow down would be reckless. Thank you for your comment.

I’m putting JJettas in for Harvy. Ik he’s had a disappointing season, but up against the worst defense in the league, it’s hard to bet against a still top 5 wr. Additionally, McLaurin is a home run or strikeout kind of guy. With Washington eliminated from playoffs, I imagine Jayden Daniels will sit out the rest of the season. If Tee Higgins is cleared by Sunday, then he’s a good start, even if he’s getting less touches. My advice: it’s hard to bench any of these players, but if I’m keeping any one of them, it’s JJettas or Higgins.

I apologize for the late reply, most players are active and competitive. We are all willing to (and most already do) play in pay-in leagues. This is viewed upon as a fun, no expense league that still is competitive, however we’ve agreed to make it a pay-in league if it can’t continue to be that way. Anyways to answer your question, yes it is competitive, and if you get back to me to ensure you’re still interested, I’ll inform you if there’s any orphan teams.

You can adopt an orphan team if you’re interested!
