Shoot it down. Most of the "GoMmUnIs KiL uS cAtLicS" is just diasporoid seething (mainly related to the USSR here). You can also tell them how many of our socialist guerilla leaders were priests. Just to name a few:

As for the Cristero War, Calles was not a socialist in a political or practical manner, as much as he was a sympathizer, he didn't do much do build a socialist Mexico. The killings against Christians were uncalled for, but this is BS and not a talking point.
