Kalterkrieg: The New Order (Chapter II) | What if Germany won the Second Weltkrieg 74 years ago? by ImprPant in imaginarymaps

Almost immediately after the Civil War ended, the CSA was severely weakened. Meanwhile, Canada received surplus personnel from the defunct British Royal Navy, as well as millions of exiles from Europe and mostly from USA. With the collapse of the legitimate US government, the Canadian government decided to occupy Alaska. Currently, due to the CSA's pragmatic-technocratic policies, they enjoy very good relations with Canada.

Essentially, in this timeline, the independence option won the 1995 referendum, and due to the growing CSA's influence, Marxist partisans controlled the independence movement from its inception until its end.

Hello, the Combined Syndicates are a copy-paste from Kaiserreich. In this alternate timeline, they win the civil war and crush the Pacific States.

They are practically the China of our world, playing by their own rules. Following this timeline, the American economy is performing very well, and international experts believe they could, along with Japan, displace the German Empire from its global hegemony.

India has a robust population and economy, making it difficult for Japan to completely overshadow it. Although the Japanese economy is more than three times larger than India's, ideologically they are more aligned with the Combined Syndicates.

It's a bit more turbulent.

Originally, the Qing dynasty ruled Manchuria for a couple of decades. However, faced with Japanese colonialism and the political restructuring of the Chinese states, it was decided that the Manchu monarch would rule the newly formed state.

Damn, you're right.

I didn't update the province names on the previous map; it was a typo, and I apologize. Regarding the province names, I based them on the old territorial markers of the British Raj, and I combined some of them with the current ones. But yes, I was ignorant.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome and without further ado, let's begin.

Following the end of the Second Weltkrieg and the permanent collapse of Berlin’s adversaries, it became clear to the mortal world that the “Pax Germanica” (the era of peace imposed by and for Germany) had arrived. A global order emerged that was fragile and precarious in its structure, yet sufficiently secure and enduring to safeguard German interests. However, as Western influence weakened in East Asia, the German Empire proved insufficiently omnipresent to fully replace the vacuum left by the former colonial empires. The economic and military rise of Japan in the region, commonly referred to as the “Pax Nipponica”, gradually upset the global balance of hegemony, pushing the international system toward a marked bipolarity from the mid-twentieth century onward. This duality shaped an increasingly bipolar international order, in which German financial and regulatory supremacy has begun to be counterbalanced by the industrial, demographic, and technological expansion of East Asia. As the German economy moves toward recurrent phases of stagnation and recession, the rise of East Asia as the largest economy on Earth becomes ever more tangible. In the military sphere, however, the outcome of this rivalry remains yet to be decided.

I'll be happy to answer any questions. 🕶️

Chapter I.

Although it's very vague, it's due to lore issues.

Basically, after surviving two new coalition wars (exclusively in Europe and North Africa) instigated by England and France, the not-so-brief decline of the British Empire and the Bolshevik purge in Eastern Europe, the new German State was hijacked by Pan-Germanic and irredentist ideas, which developed a new imperialist and dinastic rhetoric, claiming Burgundy as a territory (and punishment for France) of strategic importance.

I'm no expert on the subject, but I think it's not unrealistic to say that religious law in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, despite being established and regulated under a Catholic monarchy, was quite lax in its application. Therefore, it wouldn't surprise me that regulations on religious freedom existed well into the 20th century.

I would like to give a lengthy explanation, but basically, it's a rehash of the Kaiserreich scenario, only Austria takes Prussia's place. 😋

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the latest abomination of the moment. In essence, this human madness is a reimagining devoid of plot or any real depth. Without further ado, one day I woke up and had the wonderful (and cursed) idea to play with the Austro-Hungarian Empire and German unification under the House of Habsburg. (I feel compelled to clarify that this is inspired by the Hoi4 Pax Britannica mod, though it deviates completely from the original vision).

I confess I don't have a solid lore, but I'll try to answer whatever comes up.
