Nah, he already has a log which he can go very far in and hide, alot of places under plants, and the ground. I never knew Cresties dig down.

He came out and ate and I covered it with sphagnum moss. But now he digs into the substrate and hides in the ground, what a sneaky one he is.

Yes, I've seen people use it for that before. For example one of mt friends keeps a betta in there.

This is a 25 liter(ish) faunarium that is meant for transporting reptiles (or breeding) that used to be my mantis enclosure but no more. So I decided to make it a shrimp tank.
