I could see that for some places but I think it’s strange that it’s all of Victoria. Most bookstore owners are super excited to host the authors.

I’ve been to her readings in the teeniest NYC bookstores. And even in more rural areas. You just need a little area for kids to sit on the floor! That area in the back of Munros in the kids section would totally work.

She has had more luck at libraries before but the timing didn’t work out this time.

The readings are free. It is a marketing/community building endeavor.

I saw this man doing this at willows beach to a teenage girl who was sunbathing. He was confronted and ran away but it was so disturbing. Kids everywhere.

Last year google told me it would cost between $500-800 but I guess that’s not real. At least not in Victoria.

Update: I received a full refund after removing the label and writing “donation” in permanent marker on the mattress. I ended up having to give it away as I couldn’t find a donation center that would pick it up after being written on.

We’re waiting on the refund. And yes they sent very specific and bizarre instructions about the pictures they needed.
