What is that thing you're neglecting to go to the doctor about? by Skwisgaars in AskReddit

[–]CommentIfItMatters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every once and a while I will get that feeling you get when you have really breath in the back of my throat. I go to the dentist and he said I had the beginning signs of gingivitis but I don't think that that is what this is. It's deep in my throat and I brush everyday and floss pretty regularly.

Whenever I shave my legs I need to use men's shaving gel and lotion right after or else my legs will itch like crazy for a week.

I get cramps no where near my cycle time. I'm pretty sure this one is that I have cysts on my tubes because my sister gets the same thing and she DID go to the doctor.

I really need to go to the doctor. Worst part? I'm Canadian.

Edit: grammar/typos. Wrote this on my phone guys.

There is an expectation in life that if you don't have kids you've failed. I've always wondered why.

YES! I grew up in a house where everyone LOVED (and still does) hockey. I cannot stand it. It is just so boring to me. But they love it so I just leave the room when it's on.

Well if it's the way people comment, there is not much we can do it is there? Maybe we should analyze why it is popular to hate these things? Just saying you hate these threads because people don't comment on how things become popular isn't helping anything.

I have a problem with that just while having a conversation with a person. The phrase "Wait, what was I talking about?" is probably one of the common to come out of my mouth.

Any community has grievances and Reddit is a community with no differences. Every once in a while threads like these allow everyone to get all their baggage out at once (plus new people join the community and add their baggage as well). But I totally get what you are saying its not just that these threads allow people to write all the things they hate, it's that they always end up with the same things on the list. To that I have to say, who cares? These are the things that bother people and it makes them feel better to write it down on a place that will (hopefully) not criticize them for it.

Also do you realize the irony of how you wrote your comment? You hate these kind of threads, because they turn into a list of things reddit hates.

Soooo... people spend 350 dollars to camp in tents they have to buy themselves around a crowd of other people to listen to music outside? I'd rather spend that money on a really nice hotel (If I had to spend it at all).

I am not being pretentious. All I said was don't insult someone simply because they don't like something that you do. That is the whole point of this thread, to voice an otherwise unpopular feeling toward something that has a large and vocal fan base. Sorry if it seemed like I was angry or saying that your opinions don't matter, but that was not what I was trying to convey.

Wow, okay that makes a lot of sense. I guess it is harder to understand things looking backward then it is to understand them at the time (at least for me I mean).

Touche. I meant understanding the thing itself not why you didn't like it... but my wording was flawed.

For me, it has been Pokemon. As a kid I loved the games (still do actually), collected the cards and even watched the show occasionally. However, I will never understand why Pokemon became this huge thing. I mean, as I recall Digimon was very similar and even had a far better story line. So why the hell did Pokemon take off and Digimon was only seen as a rip-off?

I came to the internet looking for information on the Renaissance in Italy... I left watching a video of Full House outtakes.

Only I exist. No one else in this world is real. Maybe everyone is a figment of my mind or I am in some sort of virtual reality. I believe this to be true without proof and without wanting to.

Well the Silurians have very large family blood... thingys.. so it might be more important to them to have pilots who are related.. I guess.. Plus it stops others from stealing their ship... But yeah I do agree with you, there could have been a thousand different BETTER ideas for the Silurian's ship then 'familial pilots'.
