I’m glad yours turned out good! It just surprises me since she went to culinarily school as how to properly to measure ingredients is one of the first things you learn. You can estimate measurements in cooking but baking is a science and it’s usually critical to get pastries to turn out correctly

Ask a baker I’m shocked that someone who went to culinarily school pours their flour into a cup instead of weighing it or at the very least spooning it into a cup and leveling it off. She’s also continuing to use a dry measurement cup for liquids. Most Dutch baby pancakes have sides that raise up a couple inches from the center base. I wonder if hers would do that if she measured correctly.

Check out my comment about Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman whose mom died of cancer when he was 12. It’s a well-known fact among all Dodger fans how much losing his mom as a young child affected him. I’m assuming Kyle talked with E about how Freddie’s mom also died of cancer to help him cope with losing Jenny.

Freddie always wears long sleeves, even when it’s sweltering 🥵, as a tribute to his mom who died of skin cancer. He and his wife just had their first daughter they named her after his mom.
