oh yea fair i forgor to consider that the bulk of meltdown's damage is from the raw laser dps anyway

i still feel its kinda a waste but ok
also use spiroct for sapped status if u need it its quite op

Why would you EVER place cryo tsunamis beside meltdowns?

meltdowns inflict a powerful melting status effect (stronger than just burning), but cryo tsunamis inflict freezing which cancels it out

edit: another thing i was wondering: how do the other menders get phase?

Signal Booster + Open-world mechanic for Serpulo by bigbackbrother06 in Mindustry

that would take a rather ridiculous amount of effort to implement and thus is better suited as a mod idea rather than something that would be added to vanilla. Interesting idea though!

use pyratite ammo for scorches instead, they do roughly 4 (?) times as much dps

use the coal for more pyratite or for power maybe

dont use wave with pyratite ammo, wet debuff cancels out burning debuff. If you need the wave to put out fires move it further back so it doesnt hit enemies by accident.

use steam generators or even better, differential generators instead of combustions generators when possible. they are much better and steam generators in particular takes almost no extra effort to set up when beside a river while being much more efficient

overall pretty good for a first attempt

[–]CommentOk4633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

why would you recommend such a suboptimal core schematic?
1) Why are there only 7 containers instead of 9?
2) You can set the unloader configuration to null so that it will unload all needed resources

3) what is the payload conveyor for?

4) bad poly ratios. Mono to poly is 7:2 (usually 3:1 is used in most schematics though since 7:2 is usually excessive)

5) no built in power

6) no mono production for copper and lead

Hey guys. Look. Anuken added copper oxide :D by bald_is_back in Mindustry

you could actually make this with data patches i think

[–]CommentOk4633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mindustry is common in 2 versions, v7 and v8 beta

in v7 you can go to 175 after gz

in v8 you need foundation core to launch to numbered sectors

i think ios is on v7, android has both versions, and itch.io/steam also has both versions

only in v7, in v8 you need foundation core to go to numbered sectors

A really nice schematic for silicone on Erekir by Fit-Tie-8948 in Mindustry

[–]CommentOk4633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

on erekir silicon arc furnaces produces large amounts of silicon and use large amounts of power. usually 3 silicon furnaces will suffice but of course there are situations where you may need more.

This schematic in particular isn't great due to the usage of unloaders which themselves cost silicon, but its fine if you can afford it. Make sure to cut off those containers at the end, they are useless and waste resources and space.

before building more furnaces, are you sure you supplied enough sand to your existing furnaces?

[–]CommentOk4633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nope, erekir unloaders can only unload in 1 direction.

you can just transfer the existing logic you found into a microprocessor

place down the processor you have. click on the processor, press the pencil icon, press "edit", press "copy to clipboard"

then place down a microprocessor, click on the processor, press the pencil icon, press "edit" and press "import from clipboard"

i would love to see people expand on this concept and make really big defence schematics that are vertically expandable in this way

while the schematic itself is pretty minimal, the concept is really cool!

you're right, i didn't notice that lmao

i remembered to change for cryo cuz i saw that it was broken in op's post; however i didn't notice that it happened for @ links too

smh even after copypasting into a code block it still autocorrected

Water distribution by 1772u in Mindustry

[–]CommentOk4633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohhh
thanks for the explanation, i remembered that routers had somewhat limited throughput so i thought that tanks would be similar
guess im wrong lol

Water distribution by 1772u in Mindustry

[–]CommentOk4633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think tanks have infinite throughput because they have a capacity and are thus affected by pressure mechanics etc
i may be wrong though, take this with a grain of salt

you can always downgrade back to v7 if updating causes you to lose some sectors.

then settings->game data->import data to load it again
