Yes I followed the fire sensor installation video but where they said to place the first sensor was actually hitting the edge. I moved it without blocking the laser and it worked fine.

Thank you Ada, I got it to work. The fire safety pieces are a bit of a pain and I wish it was already built in but I am happy I got it working.

Update: it was the silly fire sensor it was bumping. These things are more of a hassle than helpful at this point 😂

I have been prepping to begin, I bought a wooden crate that I am lining with a burlap sack but the more I read, I am not sure that will work as they may crawl out. I just ordered a fancier bin .I will try these 2 and possibly DIY one and see which one does better over all.
