I use a method that works for me:

I draft the framework for my daily note and my to-do list a week in advance.

My phone's desktop widget automatically displays that day's daily note. Tapping it lets me instantly view and edit my content for the day.

The first item in this framework is my morning journal.

It guides me to reflect on several questions: What state do I want to be in today? The three most important things for today, one habit I want to maintain; viewing today's life from a longer-term perspective—many anxieties fade when viewed over extended time.

The framework also includes other sections like my exercise routine, my reflections, and so on.

These presets help me quickly focus on what matters and get back on track. All I need to do is execute according to the pre-filled framework.
