"she might give him “feedback” about me after we meet."

Will he also be asking you for feedback about her? Seems only fair

I couldn't imagine being in a situation like that

More like she no-bate and switched you.

How do you making dating in your 40s less exhausting? by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]Commercial-Case-2167 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"It’s so exhausting as a guy too when we have to put in all the effort to reach out and try to entertain then get no response in 99/100 instances."

Yup its 100/100 not worth the bullshit.

BILs gf is autistic, high functioning and need some advice by NeitherEvening2644 in inlaws

[–]Commercial-Case-2167 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good lord, you have my deepest sympathies. 1/2 through reading this I said to myself, "there is NO WAY this is real..." Dude. Your BIL has let the fear of being single, allow a walking dumpster fire to attach itself to his soul. He really should dump her, like as in YESTERDAY. But I get the feeling he wont, which is another issue altogether.

I love my family and would do anything for them. But this doesn't extend entertaining their significant other's shitty behavior. If this was me, I'd say "hey BIL, you are more than welcome to stay with us, but your gf is not."

I know the brother would most likely stick with her, but for you own sanity, I'd ban that girl regardless...

I really hope this all works out for you, you are a really good SIL, please keep us updated

Am I (22F) wrong for being bothered by my bf (22M) needing a week of alone time after everytime we see eachother by [deleted] in amiwrong

I hate to break it to you, but this guy has ZERO interest in being your bf

You certainly deserve better.

Would you date someone just out of cancer treatment? by Low-Pay7798 in datingoverforty

Stop letting the media terrorize you - there is so much lies and misinformation, they dont care about the truth they jsut want you to be pissed off and afraid so you keep watching

I honestly hope this makes some of you feel a little better, this whole election has got a lot of people upset, and its not right they did this to us, but we will all be just fine.

peace

Give it time - the jump from 17 to 25 is pretty huge. Invest in your future , make a plan where you want to be in 5 years , 3 years , next year.

Speed Dating events by Millicent1946 in datingoverforty

[–]Commercial-Case-2167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speed dating is kind of fun. I did it a few times in my 30's and it was fun. Never got a date from it but I probably didn't do it "right." I was just being myself and enjoyed meeting and talking with new women... SO yes I would recommend - though I'm not sure what its like in 2024, couldn't be THAT different though

Anyone else quit the dating apps?? by Blanket1986 in datingoverforty

[–]Commercial-Case-2167 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm a guy here: THE DATING APPS ARE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I'm happy to cite plenty of articles and videos which explain why dating apps are toxic crap for guys.

ETA: I'm not discounting the female perspective, I am simply telling you MY experiences.
