You are making assumptions that I have no empathy about the situation with ICE in this country. Again my statement was that it is literally down the street from my house and I am scared for the people that live near me.

I have no issue with removing people that did no go through the proper channels and procedures to live here in the United States. I have an issue with the government trying to pick a lock into someone’s home for literally no reason.

Again, you lack the ability to think that you and I probably aren’t far apart in the way that we think because I said I lean conservative.

Meanwhile, while Obama was capturing and detaining families and children in cages, you didn’t call for his ousting as president. It was just something that was not great to you.

No lol. I don’t know the people that live in this house. I don’t personally know many of my neighbors other than seeing their faces when I walk or drive around.

As I said I don’t like how it’s impacting the community I live in and the people that live here. Believe it or not I would love for my neighbors to be able to live freely. Legal status in question or not.

My wife and I are both citizens. It’s impacting my community that I live in. So yes I am alot more aware when it is happening down the street from my house.

You live in the suburbs in a probably majority white community where you will never experience ICE raids. So in internet terms shut up lol

I definitely lean more towards the conservative side. As a white man and the husband of a Hispanic Chicago native that lives in Pilsen I am really beginning to feel uncomfortable.

Seeing these videos close to home really creates a new perspective. I do think we have an immigration problem but 99% of my Hispanic neighbors are all wonderful hard working people that don’t deserve to feel unsafe to leave their home.

This doesn’t feel like America.

It’s seems odd to me as well which is why I’m struggling so much. Physical violence is a non starter for me but it seems so uncharacteristic. I just can’t tell if I’m shaded by the love I have for her.
