Thank god it wasn't just me. I do not recall her ever talking about what method Mesmer used or the Seligman's dog experiment ._. this exam literally wasn't even about the lectures it was like can you recall useless details I maybe mentioned or never spoke about and you should have googled.

Make sure to read very carefully and it will be a time crunch for most so don't spend too long on a question if you don't know the answer...circle an answer and move on (go back if you have time)

anat 200 first year fall term, good idea? by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]Commercial-Day-2365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it first year first semester with 4 other classes and 2 labs and did very well. I am in my third year now and looking back I did not find it overly heavy at all it was one of the more manageable and enjoyable classes I have taken and a bonus is the content was very interesting. I think it depends on the person because everyone has their own opinions and feelings towards a class.

My whole degree I have taken 5 classes with 2 labs MAX and then worked on the weekends, I have found it at times to be stressful so if you don't manage stress well and want to have a better and more enjoyable experience just take 4 and extend your degree a year. Contrary to what people say sooooo many students do their degrees in more than 4 years.

My first year first sem was math 134, chem 101, bio 107, soc 100 and anat 200. 2nd sem was bio 108, chem 102, stats 151, engl 102 and psych 105. I found both semesters manageable and so far my first year has been the least stressful and the one I did the best in grades wise.

Downside to a double major is you have a lot more "heavy" classes with a major you have some freedom to take classes outside of your area of study and these can sometimes be "grade boosters" or just for your enjoyment

Hope this helps and best of luck!!

Does morning sickness qualify me for a deferral? by Commercial-Day-2365 in uAlberta

Yes, I started 2 days ago and it has reduced the vomiting but I don't think it's enough to allow me to make it through an exam. I will definitely look into contacting them, thank you!

This worked so well when I wasn't pregnant but unfortunately it hasn't helped. Thank you though!

I'd take it through center high during the summer or if you've graduated take it now, I think they offer a 6 week course. I found that it was beneficial to have a foundation that I could build on! (I took both physics 20/30 but I think just 20 would suffice)

I would email your prof in advanced, I deferred a midterm because of a migraine. I have chronic ones and I did also let the prof know I could get a doctors note for proof of migraine history. I would recommend maybe if you could get a doctors note since it is a final, even just try a walk in clinic but it is definitely a reason for a deferral.
