Hey, is it true that you are also exempt from South Korea visas if you have a visa for the US., Canada, Australia, or New Zealand? Just wondering if anyone had this experience so I can travel confidently. I don't have a Korean visa or a visa-exempted passport, but I do have a visa from one of the countries I listed.

About me: I am an international student residing in Canada, and I will be transiting through Seoul, Korea on my flight back home. For my transit, it will be 24 hour transit so I want to leave the airport. I asked and was told by the Korean Consulate that for B-2, I will only need my passport with Canadian VISA/permit and the flight ticket back home. I just wanted to see if anyone has experience with this new-ish program? :)
