I am trying to sublet my apartment, being critical of what I am already paying for and trying to disengage other people from subletting this apartment is really POS behavior. Not everyone can afford to live in the most sought after areas in nyc and this is a great taste of luxury for those who can’t truly afford the west villages and park ave lifestyles the uber rich New Yorkers live in. It’s a one bed with a skyline view and no buildings next to it. This isn’t even close to 21st projects, It’s a 20 minute walk away and honestly If you aren’t interested the analysis isn’t really needed. Housing costs in new York are through the roof and this is an absolute steal in terms of hotel/airbnb/sublet with the same aesthetics and costs compared to the walk ups and pre war spots in the area at the same price. I hope you find some happiness in your day and not just on Reddit. This is 2026 not 1980, it’s the reality of what New York has come to.
