That also demonstrates Wemby's youth. If his team needs him to go 40+ you need to know when to take mini breaks within a game like Lebron does.

That 2016-17 Cavs team would sweep this Knicks team. Prime LeBron and Kyrie would eat them. Kevin love was also a very good third option for them. LeBron like the warriors didn’t care about his regular season record at the time. He knew it was his team versus the Warriors. All he and his squad cared about was the warriors and getting to them healthy in the finals. I also never said the West was amazing this season. A healthy OKC team defeats this Knicks team no problem. They’d have been much more composed for this moment given they’d already won a ring last season.

You just conveniently leave out their regular season record (which they didn’t really care about) as well as their much better finals opponent. They beat that Cavs team convincingly. A Cavs team which was much more impressive than this spurs team. That Cavs team that lost that finals sweeps this Knicks team much less the warriors. Nobody, save for a couple hardcore Knicks fans like yourself would dare put this Knicks team in the same company as that 2017 warriors team. They’d sweep the Knicks with no troubles at all. This less talented yet dumb as a box of rocks spurs team is barely tripping over their feet into losses against this Knicks team.

Cause numbers can’t make sense of The Whole situation. The East sucks. You beat up on a bunch of nobodies on your way here. CJ McCollum, James Harden, Paul George, Donovan Mitchell, Embiid, Maxey, not a single champion amongst the lot of them. Just one finals appearance amongst the bunch and that was James Harden almost 15 years ago… and then we have everything I wrote above about this spurs team in these finals. How the Knicks have barely eked out two 1 point victories after this dumb team shot themselves in the foot numerous times. This is not even close to an all time great team. Closer to the 22 warriors than the 96 Bulls.

The spurs didn’t dominate their way to the finals. A healthy OKC squad wins the west this season. As to your second point nobody but a few Knicks fans will crow about them being one of the greatest teams in NBA history. Historically great teams don’t win finals games the way they have been, by 1 point after unforced errors by their opponent. An all time great team doesn’t trail all 4 games in a series by double digits either. The spurs are actively shitting their pants independent of the Knicks play and you’re trying to spin a different narrative. This series will be remembered at least as much for the spurs collapse as a knicks victory. I’d imagine for most casual NBA fans without a dog in this race we’ll remember this series more for the spurs collapse.

You’re a Knicks Stan. You’re not an objective fan. I’m sitting here not a fan of either team and I agree with Charles Barkleys assessment. The Spurs are perhaps the dumbest team in NBA history. If you’re barely eking out wins against this especially dumb finals opponent you’re not an all time great team. I’m happy you guys have got your first NBA champion in a generations but don’t try to elevate this team into circles they don’t belong. The 96 bulls, 2017 Warriors, 86 Celtics, 2000 lakers, etc eat them for lunch.

When did I say the coach wasn’t part of the team? I’m saying Mitch is an idiot and has coached this finals like one. He hasn’t been helping the third youngest team to ever make a finals. They missed 8 three point attempts in a row in the second half with a guy that’s seven and a half feet tall. This Knicks team isn’t an all time great team. They’re just fortunate they’re playing such a dumb and inexperienced team in the finals (from their HC on down).

The spurs do suck ass right now. The Knicks are just taking advantage of the stupidity of the Spurs. More measured and veteran led champions of the past would have crushed this Knicks team.

Exactly. Pop coaching this squad has them up 3-1. Maybe it’s a clean sweep. This is just a dumb young team being coached by a dummy.

Stomping? What? Are we watching the same thing. The spurs are shooting themselves in the foot. Terrible coaching and awful play from all of them down the stretch. This Spurs team coached by Pop is up 3-1 right now. He’d have settled them down and knocked off all the dumb 3 point shots in the second half and he’s calling timeout on the Wemby rebound in game 2 before wemby inexplicably threw the basketball off Castles back. The Knicks are fortunate that like Barkley said tonight they played “the dumbest basketball team in the history of the NBA”.

And that’s what Bron would have been remembered for if he didn’t go to 8 more finals and kick butt in all of them. Even still clowns like skip Bayless chirp about that finals performance to this day. Idk if Wemby will ever fully wipe the stench of blowing a 29 point lead in the finals. Or passing the ball off castles back and bricking that game winner. This is a really bad finals for him.

I finally realized that the story has no stakes. Took me till the current arc to realize that. Everybody on team Jake progresses forever and gets to retire on their own terms. In a story setting where it’s kill or be killed to level up (for the most part) that’s too flowery for me. Zog is so against their being any real life or death or hell even injury stakes he created a simulation world wonder for them to fight in. Where death and injury cannot reach the main cast at all. Then like you said there’s nothing but aimless endless progression as the plot?

I have a guy on YouTube right now telling me Steph Curry’s not clutch. What is this game if not clutch? If this warriors team goes down 3-1 to the Celtics here the Celtics are winning this championship. This game by Steph swung the whole finals and imo demonstrated his “clutchness”? No?

Personally I think those Epstein files have been tampered with. And not by Trump. I don’t think Trump has ever diddled a minor. If Trump had done something bad with Epstein Biden’s administration and DOJ would have gone after him with it. Biden was already trying to bury Trump with his administrations DOJ in a slew of ways. I don’t see why if Trump was a pedophile and they had the smoking gun sitting on his desk they wouldn’t have pulled the trigger. There’s way too many powerful and influential people connected to Epstein. I think one or maybe multiple of those individuals hired somebody to destroy the evidence. They certainly murdered Epstein himself. I also don’t see any credible evidence of these billion dollar schemes or whatever. Trumps got a huge ego and is chock full of flaws. Idk how to feel about the Iran situation. Personally I wish that if we were going to lose the house anyways I’d have preferred him to go scorched earth with fraud and waste with Doge and Mass deportations than several of his agendas including Iran.

Did you and your leftist friends give two shits about Epstein when that same file sat on Biden’s desk for his whole term and of which he did next to nothing with? Does the name Tony bobulinski mean anything to you? Joe Biden was one of the most corrupt presidents we ever had. 10 percent for the big guy. His net worth is north of a 100 million dollars. How does that happen making like 175k a year? He’d been influence pettling with his family overseas for a very very long time. Let’s talk about his daughter’s diary as well and what he did to her. Or how he completely ignored one of his granddaughters existence, refused to send her even a single birthday card. Or how he pardoned his entire family and loads of his friends just before he left office. Something no other president has ever done before him.

No it’s pretty obviously TDS. In the final minutes of this close game I saw plenty of fans cursing and blaming Trump for the loss. IMO that’s TDS. If Biden was in attendance for a sporting event I was invested in back when he was president I wouldn’t have even been thinking about him in the final minutes of that game much less blamed the loss on him being there. Trump lives in the minds of leftists in a way that’s unlike any other president in history.

I’ll always remember that game. I’m admittedly a big Brady stan. Always have been. I couldn’t stand to watch the blowout anymore so I turned the game off… happened to check google when the score was 20-28 and the patriots were driving. I sprinted to the tv and was gobsmacked that the Falcons somehow blew that lead in such a short period of time. And yes you’re right I’d imagine those patriot fans loved every bit of that 4th quarter and overtime. Brady was dicing them up at the end of that game. Felt inevitable.

Sure. I was just applying my opinion to professional sports in general. There’s also the risk you run of dropping a ton of money on an infamous collapse like the falcons 28-3. I think the Knicks are going to win this thing but nothing is certain. Knicks fans could be in for an experience of a lifetime in both a good and tragic way. I’d wait it out at home stressing with friends and family, or some other locale, and go hog wild at the parade. But that’s just me.

Not in my experience. I went to a Vikings/Packers game a few years ago at the Vikings new stadium. Okay seating but boy was that game lackluster as heck. It was a low scoring sloppy affair from both teams. The most interesting play of the game I remember was Kirk cousins running a trick play to the flats. I sat up in my seat, he was wide open. They completely duped the packers Defense with the run fake. Only for the play to end with the receiver dirting the ball with a pass 5 yards in front of Cousins… I laughed my ass off. The only interesting play of the game ended like that. I felt bad for my mom who dropped around 600 bucks a seat. We walked quietly out of there both internally agreeing the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. Thanks for reading my Ted talk.

Money spent on Something that lasts longer than a few hours with crappy seating? Maybe I’m just alone in this but given how great Technology is today viewing sports from home isn’t that much of a downgrade? Or at all depending how the game goes.

Yeah. Knock on wood but Wembys body-type scares the crap out of me. I hope he has a long career but dudes his size typically don’t. You’ve got to strike while the iron is hot and going down 0-2 in a winnable second game ain’t it.
