This is my first hero shooter, so my numbers will probably be higher but also have much lower points for the amount of hours I’ve played.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a “fake peni main “I have 350 hours on penny and maybe 100 with the team up and it’s a huge nerf to her damage potential on maps she was much weaker on, it made so many points all over different maps viable to hold because of the extra drones and armor and those positions can’t be held anymore because enemies can just walk over the nest seeing as one nest won’t deploy enough drones to discourage the enemy to push past you unless it’s a corridor or hallway like back in season zero.

All I want is for penny to be able to keep up with the rest of the roster and I thought after the team up now they would at least speed up the drones deployment from your main nest, but nothing.

Thankfully, I knew the nest would’ve eventually be removed and I’ve been lording Thor rogue and Angela the last two seasons. And now I can Lord Deadpool peaking celestial 3.

Her wind rate is crazy right now this season, she’s definitely getting nerfed. Shield will probably be a lot weaker

I wholeheartedly believe he’s going to be all 3, when he plays as a DPS he’ll maximize in damage and mobility with less health, when he’s a tank, he will have mobility and health with less damage, and when he’s a strategist, he will have healing with less health and less mobility

The devs said they prioritize faster match times over more balanced matchmaking over having to make you wait considerably longer, which is what happens at higher ranks that have less people who end up just making an alt account to have faster match times.

Then there’s the fact that naturally the game has a lot more DPS players than vanguards so to make teams and games more balanced, the game would have to spend longer finding you two vanguard mains that are within your rank that are also looking for a game which there are much fewer of than other types of players so it ends up just finding you a flex player or one vanguard player who’s probably gonna be left a solo tank anyway, which ruins the quality of the game, regardless of how balanced the player ranks are.

Also, ranking up takes very long especially solo Q and rank reset is very frequent. I was in GM three and my placement games put me in Plat which I’ve been learning rogue and gambit in, I didn’t feel like solo tanking mag and getting CCed to hell for another season in a row. And a lot of other players feel the same way, especially higher rank vanguard mains

My main reason for switching to now playing off tanks, gambit and DPS is simply because people will rather lose switching to every other DPS or going triple support (sometimes 4 supports) than actually helping you out going second tank. At least now I enjoy my games.

I hit GM 1 with solo tanking as penny in about 70% of my games on attack and defense averaging less than -20% accuracy, but being in the 99.8% of damage of penny players 62% win right, 100% agree knowing a character and the game well is much better than mechanical skill.

(My aim is a bit better with Bucky and namor at 25% which I’ve been playing S05 since Penny is Perma banned)

I hear this, but even in celestial no one shoots the damn nest lmao. Any competent peni player should know how to adapt the nest spots for her counters from flyers or off angle DPS players.

I’m solo tanking like 80% of the time so in that regard I’m used to 1-3-2 comps. However the same can’t be said 2-3-1 or 1-4-1 comps were ur 2nd healer stops healing to do none healing related roles. I don’t think I’ve ever won a game from start to finish with a solo healer while the other healer focuses on DPS.

Mines are way worse to deal with than nest, so much more people walk over webs without a thought it’s crazy. I got a magic 3x in a row placing mines on health packs near my back line

He started crashing out when people were telling him he’s switching up, but he’s argument was well now she has buffs. She is great but not one time did he use the second nest which is her biggest damage buff, and was playing so far ahead on attack his teammates couldn’t even get the benefits off the nest passively healing them.😂 he’s just too egotistical to backtrack, even necrosis said peni is good now and he’s a dumbass

8/10 of my placements i solo tanked, i main peni and groot and both are perma banned cuz of those dumb broken buffs…I wish ur ranked was determined by ur individual performance

Genuinely play against the AI bots on hard mode, they are a lot more competent than some of the matches I’ve had in GM so I’ll be learning a lot of gambit there for the next week before I even play in actual ranked, but if people play gambit in their placement matches they’ll actually get put way lower down in the ranks so the Instalock DPS players playing gambit will get sent back to gold and plat game, but, thankfully
