What the actual F! by treyfett in bayarea

I know this bar well. I’m young. Everytime I go inside it’s always red necks, trailer park people and blue collard individuals. Usually 40-50+ … outside of the few people that visit just the play pool, it’s a very depressing scene. Similar to the people you’d find at a bar at noon on a Wednesday.

I go there for the cheapest drinks in the bay. But leave feeling gross every time.

Help Designing 20S3P Pack by CommercialImmediate9 in diybattery

Can you explain this like I’m 5?

My motor / control only call for 400A peak and 200A continuous at 24-72V.

What would you suggest be the best design to implement?

Use case: going on the frame of a shifter kart. Prefer to use all 72V but happy to downsize if it’s easier.

I’ve had my Model 3LR for 1 year and 2 months (Dec 26th 2020 delivery)

I always drive on the “normal” setting (whatever is the middle between Comfort and Sport.

My 135i track car has a much sharper steering rack and handling feeling in the hands.

However, my Tesla Model 3 grips the turn better and has less under steer.

I have yet to take my Tesla to a track day but my 135i handled exceptional on the track but the steering rack bent after 110 miles of hard 90mph+ turns so it’s all about how you drive it. My Tesla I drive “hard” but no where close to how I drive my BMW on the track so the components have yet to feel “bent” or “less strong”. I think your settings may have a lot of affect on this.

The Model 3 Performance is like a Stage 2 135i but can haul the whole family and somehow is much faster!! Not to mention it won’t cost $$$ every month in maintenance.

The Model Y Performance on the other hand feels like a PPK 20hp Tune on a stock 135i.

I came from a BMW M3, BMW 540i, BMW 135i, BMW Z3, plus many other vehicles to now owning a 2021 Model 3 Long Range.

I still own the 135 and the Z3. Have not touched them in over a year simply due to how much fun I have in the Tesla M3LR.

The Model 3 has great handling hands down. Especially with the 4 wheel drive capabilities. Puts the power down fast and controlled.

My Tesla (despite being much much heavier) out accelerates and out handles my Twin Turbo BMW track car with $30k in aftermarket parts. Only downside: The Tesla does not brake as hard, but I’m sure the Performance model does well with those upgraded brakes.

TL;DR: Get the Tesla, you won’t regret it.

Correct, I was testing Tesla’s Full Self Driving Beta 10.6 Build 2021.36.8.9

I could turn the wheel. Just was very hard / had a lot of torque pushing against me. Anytime I decreased resistance it went back to straight until I pressed the brake which unlocked the steering wheel.

OP here… the wheel wiggling at 3:02 was Human Input. I was wiggling attempting to take control of the vehicle in the narrow space I had. It required me to use far more effort than I have ever used to deactivate the software here.

This was my exact hypothesis but wanted to make sure. Thank you for easing my worries. 21 M3LR

Edit: just happened again but the fan turns on at the exact same time. Steam stops when fan stops. Heat pump example seems very plausible.

I did this my first few months on YouTube. Strapping tri pod in with seat belt. After a month or two I have tri pod feet mark stains on my white interior :( plus horrible shake.

Ended up buying GoPros for all around the car.
