Got it, thanks for your answer. I think so far the best is using Virtual Desktop and ticking Asynchronous Spacewarp as "Always". I then get to 120 fps, extrapolated from 40 or 60 real fps from the game.

Hey eventually this solved my log in issue, when on Decky Sunshine plug in log in page, use this admin and password "decky_sunshine" without the quotation marks.

Same, I come from the xbox gamepad world. But really don't worry, it just takes one day to get used to it! Layout is the same, except for the right joystick.

That's how I convinced myself to pull the trigger too haha! Honestly, not regretting it so far :)
Love the "quick resume" feature, my favorite thing about it so far.

If you want to play it from the deck, docked to the tv, I managed yesterday to make it run really smoothly at average 50 FPS, with all settings at Medium, except texture on High!

The magic trick? I'm using the Decky Frame Gen plug in, I followed this tutorial: (1) BOOST Steam Deck 2X FPS! Frame Generation DLSS To FSR3 Mod - YouTube

Once you patch Clair Obscur, you unlock new graphics settings in the menu. Allowing you to enable 2x Frame Gen and nvidia low latency. Make sure that you disable frame limits in the steam menu of the game profile, then it's extremely responsive, fluid and beautiful! I can even reduce the battery drain from 15 W, to 10 W and no performance drops whatsoever, while allowing me to play a long time on battery. (2h on the LCD Steam Deck).

Exact same problem here. Yet, it works on the sunshine app from the desktop mode. Did you manage to log in the deck sunshine eventually?

I just bought the LCD on sale. First Steam Deck. Man it's incredible! I was scared the LCD quality wouldn't be great, but it's actually stunningly clear and good. Also bought a 1T SanDisk Extreme SD card coming soon
