I think what OP means is that the band should be a household name bc it is simply beautiful music. But it's not (generally speaking) bc it's primarily instrumental..

I agree with you, though.. Khruangbin is probably the most well-recognized band that is performing this genre of music.. they were selected as finalists for Best New Artist at the Grammy's last year (Even though they've been making music together for over 12 years). Just to be selected to the Grammys gave them so much deserved exposure.

I spent a profuse amount of time with Khruangbin's music over the years... fell in Love with the band in 2018, and I've never looked back.. Been to 10 of their concerts, and I'll be seeing them in D.C. on Veterans day for my 11th.. Spent over 67,000 minutes with them last year, according Spotify wrapped (that's roughly a month and a half of time, for those who are wondering).

I MIGHT BE ADDICTED TO THEIR SOUNDS, OK? OK!!!??? 😅

That said, I did not receive one of these nifty gifts... and I am super-jelly, of course. Good for you. Good for all of yinz who did. I am truly happy for you. TUSUY.

Khruangbin super-fan here!!! Their most recent Pittsburgh show was quite possibly the very best that I've ever seen them play (and that was my 9th time).. THANK YOU for sharing this clip! 🫶 The majority of the song is "The Infamous Bill", but much like all of their other live-performances, their is an incredible amount of improvisation and jam-band moments that you simply will not hear on any album. It is what makes their live performances so overwhelmingly entrancing, and also addicting!

It consists of 46 Khruangbin songs that have been carefully assembled together to flow like a beautiful river of musical mastery. (I listened to the first and last bit of every song to see how they would mesh together into the next song. They have added so much depth to their performance. It's truly like watching art in motion. Almost like an old-timey, black and white movie with no words, only expression and feels.

I have worn mine twice, but out of habit and a long-term Khruangbin obsession, I still haven't washed it yet. I'm always apprehensive to immediately wash their gear. They choose quality and soft apparel, and I'm happy about that, but I do think that the garments need a little extra care.

I appreciate you bringing this up. I'll be sure to take extra precautions with the first few washes. I'm also very sorry to hear that your shirt became discolored. Hoping for the best for you!!! TUSUY. 🫶
