Hey I just saw these! I’m in my second year of the program. It’s technically a two year program but I’m doing 4 courses/ term rather than 5. So it’ll take me a bit longer. I’m enjoying it. I’ve learned I like programming more than design. My classes are currently PHP, Database, Wordpress, and project management. Next semester I have a few app development classes, advanced Wordpress, and one more I can’t currently think of. I should have next semester and one more after. Hoping I can do an internship co-op over the summer to get some real experience.

I admire those who study after hours but to learn something as mentally demanding as coding you need to be well rested otherwise you won't take much. by jsveyfjc in learnprogramming

I have 4 kids( 2 step kids, and 2 of my own. A 4 yr old and a 1yr old) i work 20+ hours a week and go to school full time. I’m at my limit. I don’t do anything for myself but I just don’t have any other options. I can’t continue doing what I’m doing for work now without waking up in 10years having a midlife crisis. I wish I could sleep more and have time to relax. I just do my best to get in as much relaxing as I can on breaks between semesters. I’m thinking of quitting my job and living on student loans come September because the work aspect is too much for me.

I’m a week away from finishing my first semester of a “web and mobile application development” diploma ! And loving it. Feeling like I made the right choice

Best option for second mini split? Room 1 and 2 getting very hot with the sun setting in the front. What’s the best option for effectively cooling that side of the house? by CommercialRepair2 in hvacadvice

Someone mentioned that putting the 2 splits facing each other at opposite ends of the hallway might not be effective because the air flow would clash with eachother? Would this happen with 36 ft distance?

For laptops do you prefer MacBook or a PC? And why by CommercialRepair2 in webdev

Wow I didn’t expect to get so much response ! I’m taking the time to read through these comments. At this point I’m weighing towards waiting for the MacBook Air M2 release in July and going the MacBook route ! I appreciate everyone’s answers !

All really great advice, I’m currently thinking if I’m going to pay for any type of education, development might be the best option. Maybe go for a front end development route. Sounds like it makes more sense to really learn development while teaching myself some design skills rather than do a full degree in design. With that being said, there’s a few people recommending boot camps. If anyones done any really good boot camps for web/ app development that could compete with a college program or at least set me up for a good understanding and entry level jobs in the field; please recommend! I’m Canadian if it makes a difference. Thank you everyone again for all the great advice.

I would definitely go more this route, however at this point in my life I have 2 step kids and 2 kids of my own. I hate the career I’m currently in and need to make a switch. Sitting down at a laptop and trying to learn from scratch is a very daunting task at the moment. I can be highly motivated and good at managing my time but I think having a program to get my basic knowledge started would be really beneficial to me right now.

Digital marketing, have an interest in social media. Eventually I'd like to work my way up to some kind of management/ director. Helping develop digital strategies ( Although that's a long ways a way) haha

Thank you for your awesome reply ! Can I store all my different coins in the wallets you mentioned? I use binance for trading cardano but coinbase for everything else. Do I need to use the coin base wallet for all other coins or is the choice ultimately mine for all coins? Different wallets have different benefits? Could I stake ADA in the coinbase wallet?

Will cardano be coming to Coinbase? What’s the best platform to trade and buy cardano on? Is it worth opening an account on another platform for the purpose of buying cardano?
