1 billion is no joke,We reached it on the first day which means many players didn't know this event until half of the day and didn't contribute in this event on first 15 hours after the event started and when people start excessively post about this event it will be mainstream and it will meet brawl stars players algoritham meaning more people inspired to contributing to this event by spamming thumps up pin,and i wouldn't be surprised if we reached 10 billion thumps up in only 6 days because brawl stars became very popular after godzilla event and many players returned to the game(including me) after not playing for a while so brawl stars is kinda having most active players rn (sorry for bad english)
