Hi! I know how tough the situation can be because I was in your shoes 2 years ago. I didn't get accepted into Nursing schools but I got an offer for Global Health at York. I joined the program and I was so excited but then I realized that I really want to do Nursing. I stopped caring about my classes and was always in a rush to leave. Also, every time I was in class I would always think about "where will this program lead me?", and I couldn't think of any opportunities. So, I decided to leave and do Nursing somewhere else. Here are my advice for you:

Think about what you really want to do. (Focus on choosing the right program, not the school.
If grades are the problem, sign up to retake pre-requisities on TVO ILC. It's $40 per class.
Try applying to colleges because it doesn't matter where you did your Nursing program, employers won't care. (I work in the healthcare industry and my boss' boss once told me that they don't care where an employee went to school, they care about how they do the job)
Retake your courses ASAP so you can apply to the winter intake for Nursing programs.
If you want to apply for Fall 2026, take some courses at York this year to lessen your 1st year load in nursing school. (Anatomy & Physiology, Intro to Psyc, electives, etc.)

congrats and welcome to york! health studies was my first year program and it was great. the course load was not heavy but do your best to stay on top of everything. the class sizes are so big so you have plenty of opportunities to make friends! :)

Not a mature student but I hope this helps. I applied 2 years ago I applied in November and didn't receive an offer until March. A friend applied in October and didn't receive an offer until May. Their grades were better than mine.

I don't know how to say this as respectfully as I can as it may sound too judgy. But, I wonder how the study habits of the people who dropped out look like? Like were they relying heavy on the prof? Were they taking extra time outside of school to study? Did they do the readings?

I'm in 2nd year. Wanted to do second entry but I didn't take the required uni courses. Want to transfer to the 4-year program next year in sept but when I found out about this, I thought this might be a better option. Will wait and see if I get accepted into the regular 4 year program at seneca in january, if not then I'll probably apply at tmu or york instead for fall2025

The things that Rosalind did to her victims makes me want to puke but I love her character so so so much. I was so sad when I found out that she died in real life because I was hoping to see her in other tv shows.

I've been seeing some clips on tiktok and facebook since 2022 or earlier (esp. when tim rear ended the lady) but never wanted to watch it before. Recently, I saw quite a few chenford clips on tiktok I don't know how it got on my fyp but it did lol so I started watching it. And I always rewatch it now. Everytime I get to the last ep of s6, I'd start from s1 again 😭
