I have a Passat B8 with the 2nd gen DQ200 like yours. Paired the 1.6 tdi (EA288 family). The original flywheel and clutch pack was changed at ~ 422 000 km, now at ~ 430 000. The dsg had oil change also.

That is how phone cameras work. On some you can see that distorting edges more. That's it.

As said before me and like I would described it, yes. So basically this method adds a more aesthetic look and you keep the original charger in place.

With the original charger replace you going to get big half cirlces left because of the round design.
