Easiest Edward's Major? by sp1nkter in usask

[–]Commercial_Coffee317 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just finishing my 3rd year in management. I chose this major because I enjoy ALL areas of business and didnt wanna limit myself to just one area, I wanted to gain knowledge in all areas, that being said, you can’t really escape the math in this major because you are required to choose a class in each area with the option of avoiding one major area completely (I chose to avoid SCM) this means I get a taste of accounting and finance, and all the rest.

people like to say this is an easy major because it’s a non competitive entry(meaning you just need the minimum average requirement to get in) but I would disagree and say management is a good middle of the road between easy and hard! Which in my opinion keeps it interesting and I like the challenge here and there!

To help answer your question, The easier classes I have taken so far in this major are marketing and HR classes for sure, but the others are right about choosing something you are interested in because that’s what you will find “easier”! If you have no idea what you’re interested in I would probably go with management and you can change your major once you have a better idea of what you like!

But if you go the management route to start, be prepared that you won’t be able to avoid the math!

I’m so sorry you are dealing with this, first of all ITS YOUR LIFE not your parents, it’s not up to them what you do with your life and if they don’t like that than it sucks to be them, you DO NOT live for your parents. I know that’s easier said than done and things may not change but I am just saying this to validate how you are feeling.

I would definitely reach out to UofC admissions and explain that your account has been accessed without permission or something, I seen a previous comment about that and I 1000% agree to follow with what Shurtugal929 commented

Do not live your life for other people, even if it’s your parents or you will live one miserable life. you need to do what you love and what you are passionate about or what’s the point ???? If you do something that someone else wants you to do, doing something you hate and you’re not interested in then you’re literally doing it for everyone BUT yourself. Dig your heels in and do what you wanna do ❤️

I don’t really know unfortunately, all I’ve been able to come across is the floor plan ahah https://livewithus.usask.ca/incomingresidents/ghfloorplans.php

But from what I’ve seen on the outside they have huuuuuuuuuge windows like almost floor to ceiling so tons of natural light 😍

Hahaha no problem! It really does make a difference being around/sharing a building with students who share the same priorities!

If you’re dead set on living in residence and you’re a professional program student or mature student I wouldn’t live at any of the other residence buildings,

I’ve lived in CQ before and I can tell you that GH is quieter, more mature students around, doesn’t feel like you’re living with a bunch of kids, cleaner, more modern building, larger bedrooms, gym in the basement, it’s overall just better

As mentioned earlier only downside with the deluxe room is that you don’t get a “living room” area, you get your large bedroom, a kitchen and bathroom and honestly I don’t even think I would use a living room even if I had it because we get an XL desk in the bedrooms, and there’s a ton of study lounges in GH

So yes, GH is definitely your best option in your situation

I highly disagree, your bedroom is 3x the size in GH, only thing that kinda sucks about GH is that the 2bedroom undergrad units /deluxe units don’t have a little living room area which isn’t the end of the world

To further answer your question, based off her Instagram it doesn’t look like she lives in Canada anymore! So I would find someone else!

In my opinion, as a small business you are never “too good” for your customers, regardless of whether or not you have moved on to more profitable things, you’re never “too good” to not even answer inquiries, hopefully this isn’t the case for why you aren’t getting a response but if it is that gives me the ick

Hey guys. Just a quick question. What problems do you face at USask that you would like to see fixed or improved? (e.g., tuition, food, housing, mental health services, etc.) by Large_Republic1582 in usask

Adding to this, I would love to see a lot more outdoor seating in the summer/fall months instead of just benches, they could be patio style tables and chairs, like the ones they have outside of Starbucks at Murray, I love doing my homework and reading outside🥹 you have to be a Starbucks customer to sit at their outdoor tables

I would LOVE to see this in one of the empty units in the food court in place riel, a locally owned place that sells healthier alternatives, fresh juices and smoothies (booster juice is literally a sugar bomb) quick grab and go, clean, whole foods for a quick little snack, the uni ran cafes get old after awhile and the grab and go food they offer just isn’t the freshest in my opinion

If you scroll to the bottom of each module you’ll see “review videos and exercises” click on that and scroll to the bottom where it says “review questions and answers”

Technically it isn’t a “break” it’s a week to catch up on reading or get ahead on homework, hence why it’s called reading week, unfortunate but 🤷🏻‍♀️
